OK, so this guy comes over into my office today:

"Gil, I know you play counterstrike, but have you seen Battlefield 2?"

"Nah, I'm kinda stuck on Counterstrike and don't have time for other games"

"Well let me tell you about something that will rock your socks off........"

This conversation went on for damn near an hour and 15 minutes. Final summation: I'm buying the game. His final comment: "When you get it I'll let you take a few wacks at me cause you'll be new to it".

Muahahahaha! I've got bad news for that friggin loser.

i played it for a bit.... i'll never forget one of my friends at the internet cafe saying "hey John I got a tank! you're screwed now!" to which i replied "I see you.... and so does the attack helicopter beside me"

k, i finally got it.

i think its pretty hot. it has some issues with "user friendlyness"
as far as marking fav servers, refresh server list, ping assessment
in server list, but when u actually get IN THE DAMN GAME it is pretty
frickin awesome. i do have one negative thought tho-- i played bf:1942,
bf:v and Point of Existence (mod for bf:v). POE is the shit and very,
very, very realistic as far as map settings, weapons, team advantage,
etc... BF2 feels very "arcade like" to start off. i dont see the accuracies
that i did in EA's first 2 releases. but, its a tight game and im down
for making a team for scrim/matches if y'ant to.
