I've read Day of the Dragon, Lord of the Clans, The Last Guardian, and I'm halfway through the War of the Ancients Trilogy. They're really good.

Who's the author for the starcraft book?

Meh, everyone has their different tastes. A lot of my friends think I'm crazy because I like to read books. Although, one girl I know thinks its actually kind of impressive, cuz most kids she knows hate to read. And I've even thrown a bunch of poetry at her that I've written. booya!

I'm probably gonna be an author some day.:yay: Although I've discovered on many occasions that it can lead to insanity for the impatient writer, because you stumble upon what is called "writer's block" quite often. I sometimes wonder if that's what made Edgar Allen Poe insane, heh heh heh... jk

I've read the last guardian. couldn't think of the name. i really should read more then what i do at the moment. at the moment what i read is mostly C/C++ :/ one of my friends spends the majority of his cash flow on books, now that i can't understand.

i have tried to write and i to am one of a few kids who likes to read.

Feel free to post any of your work in the Story-section of the forum. Any addition is well apreciated here. For anyone else who is willing to try to write is always free to try it in the story section. I, for one, always like to read people's stories, as I am interested in the work of amateurs the most, considering that I am one too. :p

Oh, I'm also one of those "few kids who likes to read."

I never read any of the War- or Starcraft books. Not because I'm not interested, but mostly that I don't have enough interest in it to go and buy the book. It isn't worth it, in my opinion and I rather save it for other things I enjoy more.

It's strange that reading is shunned in USA (well mainly, and australia too by the look of it) as a geeky thing. Here no-one cares whether you read or not.Me? I'm a great reader and I've read last guardian, lord of the clans & Day of the dragon,i tend to stay away from Sci-fi books though, not really something I'm interested in (I like fantasy, though, don't get these 2 confused :p)

heh, fantasy and sci-fi... how could you get them confused? I don't particularly like one over the other. i reckon both together would be good :p

I think reading isn't shunned as much as you think here. although, i try to avoid those people that don't accept me as i am. like i've said before, the most popular guy in my high-skool was also the dux.

what i meant was stuff like warhammer, there's magic (the chaos and possibly eldar, im not a lore buff) and there's technology. Even the space marines regard the equipment they use to have a spirit or some magic behind how it works.
