Yes. It's not very good, which is surprising b/c Kevin J Anderson has created some decent SW books, minus the Children of the Jedi series (and if you're going to say, "but Kevin J. Anderson wasn't the author..." Gabriel Mesta is a pseudoname for the team that is Kevin J Anderson and his wife). The book, overall, wasn't great, and overall, it embodied SC too much in terms of how it referenced the resources and such. It seemed too much like a description of an old RTS game than a novel.

hmm my new favorite auther is the one who wrote the ancients trilogy and one of the starcraft books and moon of the spider and that other diablo book but i cant remember his name

Richard A Knaack wrote Day of the Dragon, the War of the Ancients trilogy, and Moon of the Spider. Jeff Grubb wrote Liberty's Crusade.
