this thread will not die. My .02 is you will rarley to never be able to change someone's mind, and should probably stop trying, on both ends. My personal view is that is one of the bigger problems in society, trying to change peoples minds. It takes a very open mind to be open to new thoughts and concepts, one I struggle with as much as anyone. Freedom of speech is cool, but freedom of thought is a much more powerful right. At the end of the day I don't think anyone accomplished anything except dividing lines and a chance to flame back and forth. I know I'm not really a regular so what I say will be taking with a grain of salt, I just felt the need to maybe add something that might be useful, instead of trying to destroy or call anyone out. I have some strong feeling about the subject, but I don't feel I need to press my point of view on anyone. Happy gaming and hope I will see you in the server.

i dont know why this is such a touchy subject, you ppl hate debating ideas rationally for some reason. i'm disgusted by how most of you are like "oh just look the other way when someone says or does something you dont like"

Wow this thread got large overnight. I think everyone needs to relax a little bit. We went this far off the hinge over an anti swear mod? I mean I am against censorship myself, but come on people. I am totally with Tony, the last few months we have had many "tissue" threads with people crying about every little injustice. This server used to be like a party every night, used to laugh our asses off and have a great time, wtf happened to that? When did shit get so serious? Let's quit with the ill-tempered, half-true generalizations and accusations and get back to our roots, which is shooting people in the face and laughing about it with each other (alcohol optional).

I honestly believe, no matter what I said before, this is a good thread. And hopefully, we can all take a step back and realize, between all the testosterone (srry Cait), that there have been some valid points made. And although noone will stop beating their chest in this thread, maybe it will affect the way they approach the people on the server.

PS Unfortunately or fortunately, with the community growing the way it is, we have to be more responsible in the way we act. Our language and actions, no matter how small or insignificant you may think they are, affect the way everyone behaves towards each other.
