I once had a canary bird about umm... 9 years it will be ago. We werent quite sure how to care for it too. After maybe 3 years, not sure, the bird got sick and the poor one died.

I also had a cat once. But it was very ill-tempered. It got my bro scratched alot. And it wasnt scratching me cause it was afraid of me. And it hunted up a bird while standing on the window, lol. After some time, maybe a year, my dad took the cat and gave it to someone in another town. Not even remember the town name, but it was really far away from my home. And good that the cat is gone. :infernal:

The only pets I've ever had were birds. All of them had something... special.
My very first pet bird was very... aggresive. The moment you walked close to the cage it was in, the beast ran at the side of the bars to come as close to you as possible. When you would place your hand close to it, it would proepare itself ready to 'hurt' you and when you were in range, the lil' beast had the time of its life. In the end, she was the kindest of all three of them... especially the day before she died. She was also very loud most of the time... (Note: No joke) she also smoked siggaretes and drank coffee -_-' and she was strangely obsessed by soccer/football.
The second one was the complete opposite. The closer you got to her, the quicker she tried to get away from you. It tried to stay as far away as it could possible be.
The third (and last) one is still alive, luckily. It isn't as aggresive as the first, but not as shy/scared as the second. As a matter of fact, this one is quite... normal. If you'd ignore his suicide attempts and his incredibly loud chirping. It easily chirps louder than both others I've ever had and is strangely enough, always active during the night. It pretends to be sleeping during the day - mostly the afternoon - but gets very... 'annoying' during the evening and nights. There are nights I woke up because I heard the lil' creature chirping. I also must admit that this one is the first that tried to shake hands with me. Also, when this one is active, it usually walks upside down on the ceiling of the cage. Therefore, I usually call it a "blue bat" or "stupid owl", but then again, it picks on me as well.

Perhaps I'll take a dog when I finally stop studying... but that won't be the case for the next who-knows-how-many years.

If i had a choice about choosing what dog i want, it would surely be Chihuahua. The cute little dog is what i always wanted to have. :yay: (by the way the race i said is the smallest of all dogs, if i remember right)

I don't like these "rat-like" dogs. If I had to have a dog, I definitely would choose the German shepherd.
