the things i hate most by the way about americans discriminating about soccer is that they say its a pussy sport and requires no endurance...when soccer is THE endurance sport and baseball on the other hand u just stand there and wait for a ball to come to u dont even break a sweat in it compared to soccer

Soccer is contact sport, and yes I'm serious. I've laid many a people out and broken a few bones..I broke a kids hip once, I don't know how but I did. All we have is a 1/8" thick piece of plastic protecting our shins, after a good game you're feelin it for a few days.

I agree Russian, anyone who has played soccer for real knows that the tackles and that can be just as vicious as in football, and we wear shin guards only. Soccer is great because it is a sport of constant motion, there are very few stoppages, continuous flow, and instant changes in momentum and direction. The best soccer players in the world are also some fo the most fit athletes in the world, lots of stamina and endurance
