TIMING THE ATTACK

When invading/defending Waverider, you
should always remember that the timing needs to be set
JUST right. If you rush in, you might be caught up in a
brawl, but if you go to slow, you can be Meleed. If
your're on the invasion side (If facing the tower,
it's on the left side),I suggest that you hide behind
the side of room, right of the thin walkthrough in the
middle (if facing it from the towe're side) and wait
for someone to pass from under you. After they pass,
jump down (throwing gernades down on the way to make
sure no one is doing it to YOU) and shoot them or melee
them from behind.
This is a simple timing technic used in Combat
Arms very rarely. Another thing you could do (if you
have a sniper) go back to the right of the thin path
and snipe people who are trying to get to the path.
I, personally, perfer this attack when I snipe,
because the path is the most common place that people
go through. After about 6 kills on that, I'd start
checking the ground below, and make sure people aren't
trying to sneak attack you. If you're a meele guy, I'd
look for people who are sniping your side, because, if
you can sneak passed them, you can knife them, one hit,
in the back.
I think this settles timing the attack. I hope
that you continue reading and, as most CA users say,
"Pwn some noobs" as you dance your way to one-hundred
kills! Part 1 may be over, but Part 2 is one scroll
away.

FINDING OUT THE ATTACK STYLE

Virtually, there are only five attack styles in
general. Take a look below.

[ First Attack Style ]

Roof top Raiders will generally stay around
middle map, sniping people from the other side who are
also Roof top Raiders. A way to kill them is the second
example I explained in PART 1.
Some might A) Sneak Attack you from the
ground, or B) Jump from roof to roof and try to snipe you
out while running. Most likely, they would use way A, but
I have ran into a few times where they did B, and
surprising, won almost sixty percent of the time!
Other ways are for more spraying. Run up
the stairs, and sprint to the boxes. Jump onto the rooftops, wait
behind the second rooftop, and shoot at anyone who might be
coming, than run to the next one. When you get to the roof over
the platform, through a gernade down to the platform and kill
anyone who might be there. Repeat this til you get to the path.
Hide behind the right roof, but this time, shoot anyone either on
the path, or who goes on the roof thats your hiding behind. Than
continue to the ramp, and just go behind the stairs, shooting any-
one in your way, and camp behind the stairs, and kill anyone who
comes up the stairs! This can be very challenging if they are very
good at spraying or sniping, but just keep going for it. I got
ninety kills doing this! Watch out for any tower attacks on the
way though!

[ Second Attack Style ]

Base Raiders are the hardest to get rid of, because
the ENTIRE team is likely to be there, too. Wait in the lower
regions until a teammate kills someone who is on the rooftops.
SPRINT up the stairs and to the boxes. Get onto the first box,
and shoot the remainding people. If your still alive, continue
to the first roof, hid behind it, and kill anyone who might be
coming. Continue this until your at the path. Do what I
said in the 1st attack style and kill them all! PWNED! Just do
this, except reversed if your on the Defence.

[ Third Attack Style ]

These people will more likely to be in your base,
shooting people going through the tunnel than anywhere
else. Head up the stairs, through the tunnels, or go to the
back door leading to the enemy. If you went up stairs, go
to the platform beside the boxes, and snipe/spray/gernade/
secondary the person from the platform and hope to god
you don't misthrow a gernade or get sniped in the face.
If you went through the tunnel, throw a gernade
into the window when the guy can't see/shoot you.
If you went to the back door, simply kill the guy
when he isn't looking, or, if it makes you happy, shoot him
and have a brawl.
These aren't the only Back Map Raiders though.
These people hang out on the rooftops, in the alleys, and
in the buildings. For Rooftop Back Map Raider, snipe them,
or sneak behind them from rooftops beside them and
attack them.
Alley Raiders are easy. Just stray/gernade them.
When you get around the back middle part, throw a gernade
to the other alley. You'll more than likely get one if not three...
Spray any survivors and party. Whatever you want to do.
For the people in the buildings, throw gernades into
the windows or doors. This is the easiest way, but, if it makes
you happy, rush in and shoot them to HELL!

[ Fourth Attack Style ]

If your going to do ANYTHING on CA, at least try
your best to save your teammates from the dreaded "Tower
Sniper"! There are a few ways you can do this. One way, if
you can afford a sniper, is snipe him back. If you don't either
try and spray him from the ground/roof (which works) or go
up the stairs and throw a gernade up on the platform, trying
not to be sprayed to death if he/she is defending their selves.
The way to get rid of the other people (people
run around near the tower) is to do the first example I said
in PART 1. For the people who are under the Tower (under
the bridge holding up the tower, I mean ?_?), just snipe
them from behind the boxes, run to them directly (and most
likely be killed...) or run to them, take a right, go back, and
throw a gernade there/go right, and sneak behind them from
the other stairs.

PART 4
SPOTS

If you are looking for sniping spots, I
recommend the tower, the right of the rooftops next to the
path, behind the enemy stairs, outside of the tower, or on
the ledge, closest to the enemy lines. L96A1 is stronger and
can go further, so use that on the Tower and behind enemy
stairs. SR25 is weak, but fast. Use it on the ledges and the
rooftops. Use other snipers on the outside of the tower.
Sprays can be used elsewhere. I recommend
outside of the tower, on the rooftops, behind enemy lines, and
behind the enemy stairs. Really, only the Famas and G36E can
shoot from the Tower, so if you have that, I recommend the Tower
too.
